Spring Pictures is an independent film and TV production company based in London. We pride ourselves on telling stories that are designed to move, entertain and promote positive change. Set up by the Bafta-nominated producer Lucie Wenigerová, the company has produced fiction, feature films, documentary projects and children’s programmes. Our current slate includes ambitious projects for cinema and television on which we collaborate with established and emerging talent.

This classic live-action TV programme (a 90-minute TV family film and 3 seasons of pre-school series), feature the titular fearless sheepdog Mist and her animal friends and their escapades on a North Devon farm. Voiced by a stellar cast including Mel Giedroyc, Derek Jacobi, Brian Blessed, Una Stubbs, Joanna Page, Luke Treadaway and Helen Lederer.

 

Written and directed by Richard Overall and David Kennard. A Borough Valley / Spring Pictures Production for Five.

LUCIE WENIGEROVÁ’S BIOGRAPHY

Lucie Wenigerová is a Bafta-nominated film and TV producer. Her most recent credits include co-producer on a short film by Sally Potter, Look At Me, starring Javier Bardem and Chris Rock, which premiered at the Venice Film Festival 2022; and lead producer on an impact documentary, Leaving to Remain (dir Mira Erdevički). Lucie was also associate producer on the latest feature film by Sally Potter, The Roads Not Taken, starring Javier Bardem and Elle Fanning, which premiered at the 2020 Berlinale Competition.

 

Her previous credits include producing the feature film Strawberry Fields (BBC/Film London) and the Mist series for channel Five. Lucie is a longstanding member of the European producers’ network, ACE. She is a graduate of the Producing Department of the NFTS. Her graduation short, Sap (dir Hyun-Joo Kim), was nominated for a Bafta and won multiple awards at international festivals.
